Remove your Face

I'm just seeing pictures wherein people seem to have a different face when they remove their makeup.  Well, it's a matter of preference and it just so happen that I do not have the skill to transform my face and opted to have a simple almost naked face make-up but everyone (who uses make-up) should remove it and let the skin breathe and currently, these are the items that I'm using.

By the way for the month of July I guess I'll be doing a group product post to eliminate my backlogs.  I will mention the essentials but with less details like packaging, where I bought it, how much etc.  etc.

It's Skin Rice Firming Cleansing Milk got my attention because it's dermatologist tested  and well it's on sale when I bought it.  I was looking for a mild cleanser that I can use in the morning and when I'm halfway through it did I know that I'm using it wrong.  It's best to massage this cleansing milk on a dry face because it will turn into something oily and almost work like cleansing oil only this one can't remove tough makeup like the ones that are waterproof.  Then dampen your hands and massage again your skin to emulsify the cleansing milk then rinse.  I like how this makes my skin soft and doesn't leave it thirsty.

Before I'm amazed with cleansing oil, I was first awed with Bifesta Cleansing Lotion that I got two variants:  the Brightup and the Moist.  Pour some on a cotton pad then swipe it all over your face to remove makeup and dirt, amazing how you don't need water to use it.  BUT it has flaws:  one swipe is not enough to remove makeup even the simple ones...at least three to make sure everything is removed which is for me a waste of cotton pads, it stings the eyes and you need to use a lot to make it work.  I also use this before as a toner but they seem (especially the moist) to be a bit sticky so I stop.  These flaws makes me appreciate cleansing oil big time!  Bifesta Cleansing Lotion is handy though when you are practicing in your makeup skill (just a cotton pad and this can erase the minor errors) and when travelling and water is not available or if you are just afraid to use water for I don't know reason :P

And lastly, this little guy who looks like a mochi or rice cake (puto).  I got this Konjac Sponge in Landmark for like a $1 to replace my Olay cleansing brush in my everyday face cleansing routine.  It's mild and it lightly scrub my face to remove the dirt off my face, lessening the appearance of whiteheads and blackheads.  And if you use foam cleanser, this helps in making more foams so no need to use extra amount of cleanser to enjoy the divine happiness of thick small bubbles/foam on your skin.  Cheap and reliable tool!

Testing plus a Mini Haul

Just installed blogger again on my ipod and it's somehow working though putting pictures in place is a bit hard. Anyway, I'll just share some items that I bought for the past 3 weeks of April and all of them are from Watsons.

First is this compact powder; a first for me to have, from Essence which is a brand new in the Philippines. This is just an impulse buy but I needed a powder that can settle my bb cream plus the sales lady was really nice to me. The finished is also great so although I have a loose powder to buy in mind, I got this and would like to go back to try some eyeliner or an eyebrow pencil.

Next is something for my hair since it's now beginning to become unruly because of it's length (it's now on my shoulders and I do not have plans to have a haircut). Got this Pure Beauty Essence at a sweet deal.
Pure Beauty Treatment Essence Water
Surprisingly, Bifesta is cheaper in Watsons so even if I got around 3 toners I still grab one. I got the moist this time.

From my favorite Wasteland: A Small and Smart Haul

Weekend was good:  some bonding with a friend, a family lunch and an unexpectedly small haul.  Went to a mall here in the Metro called Trinoma  with a department store called Landmark and was surprised about a sale (I didn't realized it was payday).  I just wanted to get some cheap shoes but found and got awes with some items.
ribbons????
These two are totally outrageous: they are not in season  but the price are so jaw dropping I wanted to get another pair.  Guess how much are these?  P299 for a pair, even cheaper than bazarre price considering the good quality.

The mall and grocery near my place lack baking supplies.  It was an accident that my friend and I entered the wrong entrance of the department store (we're supposed to directly go the shoe section) but the wrong turn turned out to be a blessing because I got some paper cups (better quality than what I'm currently using) and tools for frosting (although there's something wrong with the name of the packaging) for a very low and sale price!

Another thing to love with Landmark is that when they go on sale, even the products that doesn't and will not go on sale with other department store are on sale!  I don't have any plans on buying a cleansing lotion (I'm not using make-up on a regular basis anyway) but the heat makes me sweat a lot which makes my face accumulate dirt while commuting so this no rinse cleansing lotion is perfect.  Many bloggers like Liz of Project Vanity and Martha of The Beauty Junkie have good commends about Bifesta Cleansing lotion so why not try?

Also got a shirt (for office, boring) and a sunnies (I'm really shocked that I do not have any planned trips this 2013 especially this summer so I just got a sunglasses huhuhu so pretty please share your summer getaway story for me to feel the season) both are from other shops :P
