My Heart is Crushed: LANEIGE
I've been in love with Laneige's Water Sleeping Pack_EX which is the BEST Sleeping Pack/Mask for me, I put it in a pedestal and is now my measurement for a good sleeping mask in case I try new ones (you can check my amazement with the product here).
And so when Laneige released a firming and then an updated version, I got excited! checked my wallet to see how much more should I make tipid to get them and voila! got them last year.
So are they good enough? Well my intro photo is a hint.
Laneige Firming Sleeping Pack
Already in my late 20's (it's inevitable, I'll be out of the calendar soon!) I just new that my skin needed some firming and all the anti-aging sheesh because they say, once you hit the land of 30s, lines, wrinkles and sagging will suddenly knock on your door and barge-in in your life with or without your permission. And so even though a lot of people couln't guess my real age (yes! baby face lang) a little help of firming from Laneige Firming Sleeping Pack is very much welcome.
I saw an ad about this product that the pudding like pack will restore its form after sometime no matter how many times you jiggle or break it. Sounds amazing but I thought "what will that do to firm my face, will the product particles once in my face will contact each other and say "Let's Bolt In? what a gimmick!".

Catching Up 2016
![]() |
| photo from here |
Hi there! It's been a while (I know!) so here's what's going on for the past few months (I read this entry again and oh most of them are negative so be prepared).
January 2016
I have lots of post ideas for this blog, unfortunately I can't materialize them because a. I procrastinate, b. I'm not sure how to execute them and c. Internet connection is soooooooooooooo slow.
Please believe me when I say that I wanted to share with you; in detail, my "Project Taba" journey...I'm pretty serious about it the first week of January (like others who make it a point to include this "be healthy, look fit" concept in their New Year's resolution) but my then work (and other reasons that I keep repeating in my mind to justify my actions) kept me from doing it. Super Overtime (without pay guys so I'm not rich by doing it) and stress (Imagine, I worked December 24 and 25 and January 2 even if I'm sick) keeps me crawling back to my unhealthy habits like eating sugary stuff to keep me awake and alert and overeating because...it's comforting to eat hehehe.
Anyway, I'll try to start again this March because it's never too late! Start with me :)
February 2016
Oh the month of love where everybody is questioning my lovelife status-SINGLE forever ahahahaha. How will I find love when in the first place, I never felt it...it's like finding an unknown thing.
I have a crush though (naks!). And it makes me happy when I see him because he's always smiling as if the world is just full of magical things...but he's gay so......end of story (shove chocolates in the mouth).
I also look into my beauty stuff and lo and behold, 90% are just sitting in different places of my place collecting dust. I'm trying to make at least two blog posts out of these stuff but the procrastinator in me is so strong that come March I still haven't made a single post. I wanted to share my thoughts about the products that I have because I think it will be helpful specially to those who are starting with make-up and skincare.
March 2016
And so here's March 2016 where I try to finish all the skincare items that I currently have and replace them with something natural. Why? Because I'm getting old and my current skincare routine is not working anymore.
Speaking of being old, I just noticed that my feed is full of marriage proposals, weddings, kids and extravagant achievements in life that I can't help but look into my life and asks myself "What are you doing?". It seems like my world is the same everyday that I didn't noticed that the world around me evolved into something strange and foreign...I've just been busy with my usual routine of work-eat-sleep. Pretty deep huh? But I guess it's never too late to be the person that I wanted or you wanted to be. I'm trying to be out of my comfort zone and change my mindset so I can experience the full potential of living (sorry if I'm trying to be deep). I will still be childish, but I hope I will be mature enough to accept that things happen and that I must move on - charge to experience things/events that are out of my scope and use them as learning to have better decisions in life.
I'm leaving you with the song "In My Mind" by Amanda Palmer :)

of Facial Mist -Innisfree and Skinfood
Facial mist to me are just toner packed in a fancy can or bottle. With that, I tend to skip looking at them whenever I visit skincare stores or look for new releases. But for some reason, facial mist always do something to catch my attention so here are two that I currently have.
I got the Skinfood Herb Anti-Dust Coating Mist deluxe sample for free when I ordered from Sae Sil (if your planning to order stuff from her, please mention my name...pretty please). I don't know how this mist is anti-dust but whenever I feel the need to feel refresh when I'm at home, I spritz this and it will instantly cool my face. The smell is very refreshing even its main ingredients are from herb namely Edelweiss, Marjoram, Mallow, Yarrow, Lady's Mantle.
I seldom use this though when I have a heavy makeup on for the fear that there will be slight smudging since the mist of this one is most of the time, not even which leads me to use the Innisfree Green Tea Mineral Mist.

3 Gift Shopping Survival Tips for the Lazy and the Busy

It's the time of the year again where singing and dancing is mandatory, where breaking the diet is forgivable and shopping gifts for each and every person you know is an accomplishment.
But what if you're busy or just plain lazy (or both!) to series of gift shopping? Well, here are my three for you.
ONE: Online Shops are your Bestfriends
If you don't want to hassle yourself in getting out of bed and going the the mall or shops, then online shopping is definitely for you. Your shopping dilemma will put to an end with just a click away.
I'm one of the lazy and busy peeps out there who almost always rely on online shopping just because I don't want to get out of the house and to commute and walk to different shops looking for something that might not be available in stores. I'm careful though as to where I order and just trusted virtual shops.
I go to Bonmarche for makeup from the western countries, Sae Sil Parknshop (facebook based) and Behappywithme (ebay based) for korean skincare and makeup (I always order from these two especially when it's sale in Korea, the prices drops drastically) and in Zalora. Actually, Zalora is my latest addiction because of the cash on delivery (I don't have to line in banks, hooray!!!) and probably because of the app -I already ordered 3 times through the app and every transaction went well. Yesterday I ordered the "exchange gift" my officemate requested and was actually tempted to buy gifts to myself (they have promotions and sales because it's 12.12) but I have to finalize my wishlist first. You can download the ZALORA mobile app here.
I sometimes try my luck with other Ebay online shops but aside from Bhappywithme, my other transactions are painful.
TWO: Be an Early Potato
One thing I learned from someone's(close to me) ex who worked at a department store is that they change the tag of the items for sale around an hour before closing time a day before a huge sale. If that is not true anymore now, then be extra early on the first day of the sale. You will avoid the long lines to the cashier and fitting room plus the salespersons are still energized to assist you.
Most of the time I also take advantage of special sales and additional percentage off to my purchases a mall offers to early shoppers. SM Department Stores sometimes give additional 10% to 20% discount to their SM advantage card holders if they shop an hour earlier than the regular mall hours.
THREE: Have a Master Plan
Always have a list of things to buy and where to buy them. I don't mind people telling me that I'm so old school for having a list on hand - it's effective to get the job done and I save time.
Now the list should include every detail possible like the color, size, where the shop is located and even the back-up item to be gifted if the first option is not available. This way, you won't spend your whole day pondering and going back and forth to shops.
Set a definite date to do all your shopping so your mind and body is prepared. Also, make sure that your cards are perfectly working and you have enough cash on hand.
It's also nice to bring some snacks (and water, stay hydrated) so you can nibble on something when hungry~it's rare to find a resto/food store that is not packed with hungry shoppers.
I hope these three tips helps. But if everything fails, always remember that a sincere greeting with a smile or a warm hug are great gift options.

Before They Go: Meet My Shoes
I'm about to go out to do some shopping damage since everything is on sale. But then I saw a shopping bag with two pairs of shoes in it just lying at the foot of my bed and realize that I have too much stuff and I don't need to acquire more.
By the way, I decided to throw/give away that two pair of shoes and put them in that shopping bag for like 3 weeks ago or even a month already and I still haven't got to doing so maybe because I'm a shoe lady??? I do not have much of a problem bidding goodbye to bags and clothes but shoes is something that bothers me a lot when it comes to "culling".
So with that intro, here are my shoes of the moment.

Binge Online Shopping
In order to keep my sanity and fight boredom, I kept on visiting online shops. There's Sephora who always fill my high end make-up and skincare fantasy that youtubers rave about. There's Luxola for mostly brushes and sleek blushes. And then there's Zalora which; thankfully, is in the Philippines so I've been browsing their site for the whole week because of the sales and the discount that the company I work for have for its employees (thank's company, I hope you raise my salary so I can have all the items that are stuck in my favorites) so might as well share them to you.
I've been into clothes and shoes lately, I'm blaming Claire Marshall, Jen Im and the The Line Up for this. My style is more on the basic, structured, comfortable, almost minimal and with a splash of tomboy~ish look.
White Boyfriend Blouse
A white button down is a staple in every wardrobe. You can dress it upor down. Wear it on it's own or jazz it with some accessories. Layering them with blazers, cardigan and jackets will also make the simple white interesting and not boring~a white button is the perfect canvas for a chic and versatile outfit.
Bomber Jacket
It's a bomber jacket which is usually associated with something sporty but this printed jacket can also be worn in a formal way. I picture wearing this when I'm in a mood for something girly yet I still wanted to have that tomboyish vibe.
Pineapple Print Tee
Don't laugh but this tee is from the men's section. I don't know why but I'm more attracted to the prints in men's tee (I have a couple of them) ~they have more variety of prints like pineapples :)
Again don't laugh but my first ever pair of jeans is from the men's section. I have a weird body structure that most girl's jeans/pants won't fit me that's is why when I shop I always look at the men's section (sorry guy's) though a lot of people look at me quizzically but hey, they fit me well- not too body hugging, have the right straight cut that I want, no whatever flower or jewel stuff and most importantly, they are comfortable.
Visit Zalora to browse for more perfect fit jeans here. Don't worry ladies, they also have the perfect jeans for you (*whispers* some of them are on sale). Here are some of the jeans that I like very much.

Surprisingly Good Lipsticks
The colors of the photo above is a lie, because of the light and a little tweaking from fotor, they are much more brighter but don't worry the swatches below are near the real thing. Without knowing the brand, I thought that these two tube are from the mid-range category of lipsticks because the packaging looks classy-black with silver topped with the color-representation of the lipsticks inside. Quite surprised that they are from Ever Bilena.
These two are my first shocking colors in my makeup "collection". Red and Pink! I can never imagine myself picking these up whenever I buy make-up but thanks to my sister who always share with me her make-up stash, I became a rebel and opposed to my play-safe-color-rule.
Storm; which is a red with a hint of orange, is something I imagine wearing on a holloween: me in all black and a pair of boots, hair straight down with black eyeliner. Like the swatch above, I will look villainous, dangerous, and masungit.
Pink Flame despite having pink in it's name looks like a peach-mauve color; again, in the above photo swatch. My usual everyday shade only, more noticeable than Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Honey.
But applying them on my lips gives different results:
Anime, Books, Food, Music and of course Cosmetics
From my mug to yours, have some coffee. I'm finally awake and hopefully I'll also be in action in this blog thanks to my sister who wanted to have my Collection concealer and to Shayne who keep on visiting and commenting in my posts-they reminded me that I have a blog. I have lots of products to review and ideas to share but the couch potato in me consumed my energy.
Here's what I've been up to lately:
Anime
Anime series is just like your tv series: it has interesting characters, story, morals and it can make its viewers go mad while waiting for the next episode or season. The only difference is that it is in "cartoon" form. And also, I prefer english sub than dub.
I re-watch Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood because I already forgot how it ended (and glad that I did because I didn't really finish the series before) and still waiting for new episodes and season for World Trigger (wars of different nation/world), Food Wars (it's about food with OA reaction when tasting the food) and Assassination Classroom (a classroom of high schoolers who aims to assassinate their un-ordinary teacher to save the world).
Books
Done with the The Strange Library by Haruki Murakami which is really strange, my brother think it's a horror book some people think it's a children's book (how opposite). It's a very short story with lots of illustrations that can be finish in; at most, an hour.
I'm already half way through Rags and Bones which is a collection of stories from great authors. Like what is mentioned in it's cover, the authors gave a new twist to timeless tales which also made me realize that I'm very very very far from being a well-read person, I feel ashamed when someone calls me a bookworm. Anyway, this is for you if you wanted to read but do not have the time to commit to a full blown book with a long story since it consists of 12 short tales and it's easy to jump from one story to another because they are not interconnected.
Food
I ate Thai and lots of Indian food. I've also been to UCC which I never knew was a Japanese resto and to Dyce and Dine where I drank a Pineapple Mint in an erlenmeyer flask while playing some board games (didn't managed to enjoy the food since I'm having a terrible headache that affected my sense of taste).
While watching anime, I never failed to eat ice cream and for weird reason I'be been liking Double Dutch which was a weird flavor for me before. I've been gobbling Ruffles Cheddar and Sour Cream which many despise because of the smell. These combo really made be fat so beware.

Shiseido, Canmake, Etude and Laneige Haul
There are many types of reasons. There are those reasonable that no matter what argument you throw, the reason is fair and sensible. And there are those unreasonable which might be a result of an impulse, like my reason for these haul which starts with "Just because".
"Just because" someone from Japan is coming to Manila (thank you my friend), I got the Shiseido Perfect Whip Cleanser and the Canmake Shading Powder. I don't basically need them but heck these two are waaaaaay cheaper in Japan than in here, so why not.
Aside from the usual sachets of samples (thankfully, I only got two BB creams which is a miracle. I usually give away sample bb creams because they are too light for my skintone although I'm fair and pale) and face mask, I got some nice deluxe sample products. I'm actually expecting some Laneige samples but heck these are awesome and will be perfect for travel. Got these because of the below purchases.

Quick Escape: Camp Netanya
And my sleepless Saturday continues (first was with a friend, supporting her fangirling by accompanying her in buying the precious BigBang tickets) but this time, I went to a lovely place~ Camp Netanya which is a piece of Santorini in Mabini, Batangas.
This will be a photo-diary so I wouldn't blabber much :)
The seashore is rocky but heck, the water is so clear even clearer than the pool. I deep my feet and the temperature of the water is just right to freshen the sweaty me.
I didn't bother to swim, I'm not in the mood and so I just watched my officemates have the fun in the pool while I'm having fun with the food. I still take advantage of the pool though my capturing reflection of a portion of Camp Netanya.
Another perspective~the white and blue combo is very lovely and clean to look at, it is calming too. Since the place is far away from the main roads, it is quiet and relaxing in the camp. There are no tv or radios in the rooms too and the signal is weak so if you wanted a semi media detox, this place might be the right venue for you.
The cloud formation is just stunning, they are like cotton candies and marshmallows in one.
And of course the Sunset! Everyone took advantage of the sight and made every position possible for a selfie with the sinking sun, I on the other hand just took a photo of it because it's such a beautiful sight.

Human♥Nature Overnight Elixir and 100% Natural Moisturizer
I got the Human♥Nature 100% Natural Night Moisturizer because it's so cheap. It's Php149 (around $3.50) for 50ml and it has jojoba which is said to be the the most similar to human skin oil and plant collagen which makes the skin looking plump and youthful.
The Overnight Elixir is an impulse buy. I like to try the Rosehip oil but looking into the ingredients of the Overnight Elixir, I think it's better plus just hearing the "Elixir"word makes me want to have it even more. By the way, I tried the Rosehip Oil (my sister has one) and I kind of hate how heavy the oil is plus it's smells like a cooking oil.
Even though everyone have good reviews in the site, I still kept my expectation low with the Human♥Nature 100% Natural Moisturizer and I'm glad I did because I am so surprise with the result- I can't believe it's cheap. Aside from the price, here are three major reasons why I like it:
First is that it's fluidy and has an essence like consistency and texture that my skin absorbs it real quick.
Second is it's moisturizing not only the top of my skin but deep within as well. While this moisturizer sinks into my skin quickly, it still leaves this thin-light and non greasy layer of oil that kinda coats the top layer of the skin making it bouncy.

Bioré UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence
I am not a fan of sunscreen/sunblock/sun protection-whatever-you-call-them products because I always assume that they are one: sticky and heavy, two: smells funky and three: gives white or gray cast. I loved a sun cream in deluxe sample size before with the right spf and whatever pa+++ but the full size is so expensive and I don't know where to get a sample again so I just rely with whatever spf my bb creams have.
So considering the first reason that I mentioned above, I decided to look for something light like an essence and with that in mind I found Bioré UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence and I hit the jackpot.
The yellowish gel-essence-like-cream is water base so it's light and refreshing in the sense that it melts and gives a bit of a cool sensation when applied on the skin. At first it weird me out because there's a quick phase wherein it turns into something sticky but glad that it will immediately turn into something powdery~it's like a light satin powder that can act like a make-up base or primer which is also one of the reason why I love this product. It has a high SPF of 50 and it doesn't leave a white or gray cast.

Never Again: EcoTools & Collection Concealer
And the "Never Again" continues, surprisingly the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer is included in this post which saddens me because it's my first concealer and a lot of beauty gurus adore it (that's why I got it, oh the internet just makes me buy stuff that I could live without).
Before the concealer, let's talk a little of the EcoTools Fresh and Flawless Complexion Brush Set.
I like the EcoTools Bamboo 5 Piece Brush Set but my inner masochist just go out when I clean my brushes so the mineral powder and mini kabuki brush shed like crazy and I have throw them. In replacement, I got another set that I thought has the same size as the bamboo set but I'm wrong (I seem to not have the best luck with it comes to makeup and tools), they are way mini than I expected they only occupy 2/3 of my palms.
The Complexion Blending Brush is just slightly bigger than my thumb that it will take me forever to blend foundation or bb cream that I applied. I usually use it as a blush brush and maybe in the future as a contour brush since it has a round and dome shape and it fits the hollows of my cheeks. Same goes with the Precision Foundation Brush (pinkie size) so I only use it when an extra coverage is needed in a small area of my face like the sides of my nose. I rarely use the Flat and Buffing Concealer Brush, maybe in the future if I can finally find a concealer that suits my skin. And finally, Full Powder Brush which is perfect as a blush brush (I don't use face powder). It's soft and tapered, picks just enough amount of blush and it's almost the size of the apples of my cheeks.
Overall, this set is a good travelling companion and is also perfect for those who cannot spare a lot of space for makeup tools. Plus it's cute and the ferrules are really dainty.

Skincare Centered Haul for You All
Cosmetics sale is everywhere and I participated in some like the annual nivea sale where everything is half the price and I also got some other stuff like a weird looking brush and foot soak. I also took advantage of some korean skincare products because some of them are on a great deal.
Here are some of the things I accumulated that I bought online. Let's start with what I got from Bhappywithme Ebay. By the way photos are by Louis of Louis Delos Angeles Photography, I edited them though :)
I've been eyeing the OST Vitamin C Serum but I couldn't find a Philippine based online seller who can "procure" it for me and so when I saw the C20 (which is the new name of OST) Vitamin Sleep 9 to 5 crema (Php799, around $18), I immediately put it in my ebay cart. Dull skin is one of my problem so I hope the vitamin c in this cream can solve my mini dilemma.
Still from Bhappywithme, I also got the Innisfree Green Tea Mineral Mist (Php200, around $4.5) which has been a favorite to many skincareaddicts enthusiast. I initially plan to used this just as a final step to my base makeup but it's so refreshing that I just spray this on my face whenever I feel like it.
I love my Biore Water Essence with SPF 50 but I couldn't just wear it alone, I need to apply another product to fully entertain the need of my skin for moisture so I got the A'pieu Pure Block Natural Sun Cream (Php300, around $6.70) hoping that it can perform like the IOPE that I have before (which I cannot have to afford the full size).

Never Again: TBS All-in-One BB Cream & A'pieu Pore Cover Balm
There are times that you get excited with a certain product that it hurts so much when it performs below your expectation and swear that would never again use and buy it and the only reason why your keeping it is because of the "just in case" thought. It'll be in your stash for some time and then one day you will look at it and wonder "why did I even buy and keep you".
It's cleaning time once again and I have to throw makeup that are already expired (it hurts to throw them because it's like throwing money in the garbage, but I have to because it's not healthy for my skin) and make peace with the items I swore almost to death (I'm exaggerated, I know).
Let's start with The Body Shop All-In-One BB Cream.
This one hurts me so much because it's the first "legit" and pricey (although many consider it drugstore and cheap) bb cream that I bought. Most of the bb creams that I tried are sample deluxe or in sachets so the All-In_One BB Cream signifies my being "dalaga" when it comes to makeup.
The Body Shop All-In-One BB cream is a color adapting cream that looks natural on the skin. I swatched the 01 in store and it perfectly matched my skintone though I should have wondered and questioned why there are shades to choose from where in the first place it should "adapt" to one's skintone. Anyway I still bought it, use it and happy with the result (because it's not too obvious that I'm wearing a bb cream) while at home. Took the bus, walked around three blocks under the sun with minimal shade from the trees and when I went to the comfort room, my face look almost a shade darker~ I instantly have a tan. I still gave it some more try because I thought I'm just applying too much or applying it the wrong way but the results are the same. So I gave it a rest and thought maybe this will be perfect for summer since it can fake a tan.
QUICK BITES: In Tubes
There are times that strolling in the aisles of grocery is dangerous in the sense that you see things that makes you curious, take for example the Pantene 3 Minute Miracle conditioner (which luckily I got at half the price) I don't need it but bought two for good measure (that's what I thought).
Here's another edition of Quick Bites where I share my thoughts of random products in a "quick" way.
Pantene 3 Minute Miracle
This is love at first use of sachet, I was head over heels and decided to get a tube but lo and behold it went on sale and so I bought two. The first 2.5 weeks was heaven: my hair is soft and shiny it's as if I having an everyday hair spa. Past the 2.5 weeks though, my hair started to feel heavy and I noticed more bumps like pimples on my shoulders, on my hairline and jaw area and on my scalp too meaning this conditioner is just too strong that my sensitive skin can't take it~ it's like the conditioner's love is too much that my body is already choking.
Nivea Intensive Moisturizing Serum SPF25PA++
I hate wearing sunblock or any lotion with SPF because they are heavy and overall give an unpleasant feel to my skin but heck I need protection from the blazing sun this summer (I'm talking 30 degrees and beyond temperature with so much humidity) so I'm happy with an emulsion like moisturizer with SPF. At first I thought this doesn't provide enough moisture because the outer layer of my skin is not as smooth and silky as when I apply my regular lotion at night but I'm wrong because when I scratch myself, I don't see any white marks~that's how I measure how moisturizing my body moisturizer is :P
St. Ives Bright Skin Apricot Scrub
This is pricier than the regular St. Ives scrubs and the packaging have all these Japanese (if I'm not mistaken) words so it got me curios. Well, the "granules" in this scrub is much finer which I really like. Aside from that thought, it seems like the other kind of scrub from St. Ives.
Beauty Formulas Glorious Mud Facial Mask
I tried the green tea version of this when I stayed at my sister's place one night and it lifted my white and blackheads that I can easily remove them without the help of tweezers so I thought this must be better because mud masks lift or absorbs impurities and it's made of kaolin and bentonite. Well, I'm slightly wrong~the green tea is better when it comes to removing whiteheads and blackheads but this one seems to suck all the accumulated oils of my body from the products that I use (I use this not just on my face but on my body as well) I have to remember to moisturize well after though as it is a bit drying.
The Body Shop Hand Cream
I got these (I got three, gave the other one to my sister and I don't know why I'm telling this to you) from some of the points I accumulated from buying The Body Shop products (I'm quite loyal before) and I love them especially this summer. They are light yet very moisturizing (more light than all the aloe gels that I tried which to me are very light) and also give a refreshing feel to the skin. The satsuma smell is really refreshing, it's like orange and lime in one.

QUICK BITES: My Bro Said "Oh It's Your Lotions"
Oh hey, it's been a while since I've been busy with work and watching animes (again). I already catch up with World Trigger and Kamisama Hajimemashita and I'm planning to start with another recommendation from my brother, Ansatsu Kyoushitsu.
I'm doing another random review (I'm now calling this kind of post Quick Bites) because I'm still not into doing a proper full review blog post but I hope it still interests you :D
Sulwhasoo Essential Balancing Emulsion
Another ginseng based product with a ginseng smell, this emulsion is just right during night time but is a bit heavy during these summer days and when I say heavy I mean sticky and looking greasy. It works just like other emulsions and because it's doing just okay with my face, I started using it as a body lotion and surprise surprise as a brush cleaner. It seems to have a fair amount of oil so I put this on my brush egg then swirl a dry brush. Then I wet the brush and swirl again then rinse with water and the emulsion does the job.
Sulwhasoo Overnight Repairing Treatment
Sulwhasoo is a high end brand in Korea so I'm really into trying out their products and bought samples even though they are a bit pricey and unfortunately I'm disappointed. This Sulwhasoo sleeping pack didn't beat my love for Laneige Water Sleeping Pack. It's not as sticky as other sleeping packs and my skin mostly absorbs the product but it doesn't feel refreshing to apply...it's like I applied a medicinal cream. Also, I get these hard bumps that look like a pimple when I use it (I currently have three after a month of using the sleeping pack/treatment which I use twice to thrice a week) and over time they darken. Obviously my face is slightly hating it but my legs seems to like, it helps in soothing the itchiness of my skin.
Laneige Moisture Balancing Emulsion
I feel like my face is into Laneige products. This emulsion is light enough to use during day time but still gives enough moisture and a little moist throughout the day. Like other emulsions, it takes some time before my face absorbs it, so I wait around 5 minutes before I can apply my spf or makeup. Two more plus about this product is that one it doesn't irritate my skin (no bumps or red spots whatsoever) and two the smell is light and refreshing.
That's it. It's summer here in the Philippines so Happy Summer and Enjoy the Sun!

3 Favorite Youtubers
I started watching Youtube videos last year and always waste my time with vlogs, series, and tutorials and of course music. Here are three of my favorite youtubers that makes me excited whenever I see notifications of their videos on my phone.
Claire Marshall, heyclaire
The editing of this lady is just mind blowing. Her videos are so neat and detailed it's like she have a production crew working for her. Her ideas are unique and creative that I always crave for more. She also explains things that should be explained like in her What I Wore: Sunday Brunch video and her vlogs plus music selection is just so interesting and usually out of ordinary that I would watch till the end. Love her style, love her makeup, love her apartment~ I love Claire!
Jenn Im, clothesencounters
I actually do not like her at first in her earlier/older videos because she always sticks her tongue out (do not hate me, I also stick my tongue out but not too often) but she's more mature now and how she vlog the snippets of her adventures is just perfect and her outfits are always fun. I also like her monthly favorites because she features different things like books and music. Oh I also like the channel of her bestfriend Stephanie, oh that girl can be a model.
Estee Lalonde, essiebutton & essiebuttonvlogs
She's just so quirky and happy to look at especially with her little family~Aslan and Reggie. I get to see London in her vlogs and hear make-up and skincare items that are not available in my country. She's a natural talker that I guess when I bump into her, we will still have a nice chat even if I'm awkward and shy person. She's a lovely Button.

Hi! Quarter Update
Hi! I randomly thought that I'll do a quarter update post to break the reviews and hauls that I usually write; about although I'm not a legit writer, and also a little sneak peak with my personal life.
EVENT
January:
Work has been the highlight of my January because I'm already an official member of the company I work for but gosh I'm still not holding a firm grip with my position but it seems that I'm getting use to all the hoopla of the people around me.

2 More Revlon Lippies
I thought I'm completely a blush girl until I made contact with a "real" lipstick...it change my makeup life.
For years, I lean on different kinds of lip balm: colorless, tinted or those "magic" type that changes color and dries my lips, and I was okay with it since I only use lips balms when I remember that I have them or when my lips are chapped. And then I bought a legit lipstick but at the back of my head I always say that I'll just use it on special occasions or if I wanted to be not so ordinary which rarely happens. Until came Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain...
Wait a minute, it's a balm not a lipstick (my whole life is a lie!). I only know this now because the print on the tube was already erased. I have the 001 Honey Douche which is a color that I'll never pick because it's a shade of pink but this was just given to me by my sister who thinks that it's more appropriate for me than on her (and she's right).
Yes it's pink but it's not the shouting kind of pink, it's more on the demure and not so girly side (why is this hard for me to explain, makeup reviewers/bloggers out there-HELP ME). It's also close to my natural lip color so even a newbie like me can apply this without a mirror. When I wanted to put some color to my tired looking face or spruce my no makeup makeup look, I usually grab this~it's an everyday-looking natural kind of lipstick.
Another lipstick that I got for free (it's from a hair dye) is this Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter 063 Wild Watermenlon.
Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter is moisturizing and buttery so I'm not surprised that I'm halfway through with Fig Jam (a variant that darkens or adds depth/shadow when I use it on top of my other bright lipsticks). The Wild Watermelon shade is like a demi lip stain and balm in the sense that it's not as buttery as the blank blank that I have but it is more staining. I hope the above photo can explain this, I mean just look how liquidy it is compared to the Just Bitten.
I usually wear Wild Watermelon when I wanted to brighten my lips and maybe more often this summer because it's bright red orange (which I usually associate with something perky and colorful).
I'm happy that I have these two in my lipstick stash (I hope that makeup collection (dangerous words) will never occur to me) and even happier because I got them for free!
