Small Medium Large: Moringa, Avocado and Apricot

There are some products that don't need much explanation and elaboration that I just tend to bundle and give my thoughts about them in one post to save space in the net :P

Beauty comes in all sizes and I have 3 good and affordable products to share with you.

Pantene Pro-V Intensive Hair Mask Nature Care - more or less P200 (around $4.25)
The bounciness this one gives is not comparable with what's shown in its Philippine commercial but given the price, this one is bouncy enough for me.  It makes my crowning glory moisturize, feeling light and bouncy as if it's so healthy.  Scent is a bit heavy in floral but tolerable.  I use this after I shampoo my hair, put a shower cap on and let it sink into my hair for more or less 10 minutes or until I'm done scrubbing and washing my skin.  Rinse then either fan dry (which makes my hair very tame and shiny) or air dry (which gives my hair some good looking fly-aways but still shiny at the same time and less frizzy too).

Moringa-O2 Malunggay Herbal Hair, Scalp, & Skin Therapy Oil - P99 (around $2.10)
There are many uses enumerated in the box packaging but I mainly bought this 30ml oil for only one purpose and that is to moisturize my skin.  Cold days are my dry skin's enemy so I layer oil and lotion or body butter to keep my skin well moisturize.  Moringa-O2 Malunggay does its job in the moisturizing area (will just update this post or make another one if ever I'll try its other uses).  I also noticed that it helps in reducing the appearance of some of my scars.  Others say that this one is light on the skin...I don't 100% agree.  Though it's lighter than baby oil, it's not as light as dry or argan oil.  I definitely see and feel a thin film of oil sitting on top of my skin.  But with all the benefits of moringa plus its affordability,  there's no doubt that this is a must try.

St. Ives Smoothing Apricot Exfoliating Body Wash - more or less P200 (around $4.25)
It gives a mild exfoliation and at the same time washes the dirt from the body, this is a 2 in 1 product that is paraben free and made with natural ingredients.  The exfoliators from this body wash is so fine like a sand that I wish their face scrub would also be the same and even if I use this on a daily basis (with just my hands), my skin doesn't dry out.  The apricot scent is also refreshing and having a 400ml product in a bottle will last for more or less 3 months.

Aloe Vera 90% Body Shower Gel

So I got this body wash/shower gel by mistake.  After just one and a half hours of sleep and a long travel going to a place where almost all skincare products are present, my friend and I decided to visit Nature Republic (me because I need an Aloe Gel and friend because of JGS) after attending an event.  It's August, it's rainy yet I'm having very dry skin so I decided to also to grab an aloe body cream and I did, well that's what I thought because when I got home I found this body gel in my shopping bag instead.
Nature Republic Soothing and Moisture Aloe Vera 90% Body Shower Gel
here's a closer look
If you are familiar with Nature Republic's Aloe Gel (review here) then this shower gel is almost the same with the aloe gel only this one lathers though not as bubbly as Nature Republic's Morning Fruits series.  It has an aloe smell, it has the aloe cooling effect and also have the light moisture just like the aloe gel (so lotion/body cream is still needed if you have dry to very dry skin).  It has a California Certified Organic Farmers seal meaning the aloe used is organic and I also don't see any kind of paraben in the ingredients' list.
description + directions on how to use + cautions + ingredients
I always have to used body sponge for me to get some or use a lot of this shower gel to produce lots of bubbles so 150ml of this product is good for around 1 to 1 and 1/2 months. Also; although the container is better than the Morning Fruits', the gel is leaking.  Really, Nature Republic should fix the caps of their shower gels.
just in case you are curious as to how this gel looks like
It's a good product and I'm thinking that this is perfect for summer together with the aloe gel and body cream.  The lightweight and freshness it gives makes it perfect for hot weather.

TBS Body Butter in Olive

Goodbye itchy, dry skin cause I'm buttering my body now!  Suddenly became a new fan of body butter all because of The Body Shop's Body Butter in Olive.  To date, I have 6 tubs (5 big and a mini) in different variants but Olive started my fascination.

for Normal or Dry skin
instruction
Olive is for normal or dry skin and it's one of their best seller so I'm really happy to get this baby at half the original price. It's pretty easy to use, just pat some onto skin then massage just like how you apply a lotion.  It's also as light as a lotion; it's not sticky nor heavy, and the scent is delicious well it's not really a love at first sniff but the second that I used it I began to be accustomed with it's smell that it makes me want to believe that it's an olive ice cream.
creamy yet light and non-sticky
See, it can qualify as an ice cream, right?
I love how this body butter softens and moisturize my dry skin and as I said it's not heavy and sticky even if it has creamy consistency.  My hands and feet love it too so I don't have to buy a separate hand and heel lotion.

I'm really glad to have found this wonder.  It's an all in one product that is just right for my budget.
