It's official, I'm a magnet of corn. I hope it's the corn that can be eaten (I love Japanese sweet corn, sweet and golden!) but it's the kalyo (corn or callus) and I have plenty of it again after just a few months of having a foot peel. TonyMoly saved my feet (again) with Shiny Foot Peeling Liquid.

TONYMOLY Shiny Foot Peeling Liquid
P498
20ml each
This special treatment for foot calluses contains plant-derived extracts, and will make your feet soft and supple. It removes rough dead skin cells from your feet, leaving your feet smooth and silky soft.
|
The two foot sachets comes with 2 big plastic socks (reminds me of the foot of Santa Claus in greeting cards).
|
Special foot masks with skin smoothening & moisturizing ingredients present fresh and supple feeling on the foot's skin.
(me: ano daw?)

I used the Maxi Power Foot Peeling Liquid last year (post
here) and it's quite effective but surprisingly, Shiny Foot Peeling Liquid did a lot more peeling.
There's an english instruction on how to use the product but since my picture below is a bit blurry, here's the exact text:
Directions: Please read the instructions thoroughly
before applying.
- Put
Foot Sheets on your feet
- With
scissors, cut open the pouch containing the peeling liquid along the
dotted lines and pour the liquid into both sheets (20ml each).
- Keep
both sheets on your feet and wait until your foot skin absorbs the liquid.
(it takes approximately 1 to 1.5 hours)
- After
waiting for about 1 to 1.5 hours, take off the sheets and wash your feet
until the peeling liquid is thoroughly rinsed away. Dry your feet after
washing.
- In
4 to 6 days, the dead skin cells will naturally start falling off from
your foot. DO NOT try peeling them off forcefully. Wait until all the dead
skin cells naturally fall off, then you will feel no irritation or
discomfort. Your will have smooth and soft feet in about two weeks.
So for almost 2 hours (yes, I extended the time until I feel that the there's no liquid left in the plastic socks), I'm just sitting with the socks filled with the peeling liquid but unlike with the Maxi Peeling Liquid, I'm tilting my feet every now and then for the liquid to go to the other parts of the foot. I didn't feel any irritation it's actually kind of refreshing because the liquid has a cooling effect but my feet got a little wrinkly.
Four days after, my feet started to looked cracked, see picture below because it's not the crack that hurts. It's the first layer of the skin cracking and trying to break free from my feet :P
|
snake skin? |
And in the span of almost a week my feet continued to peel (please see below photo if it's okay for you to see peeling foot) even my skin and side of my nails peeled.
|
I know I have a weird feet |
And the final result!
|
after around 9 days of peeling |
It's more than a week of wearing closed shoes for me but it's worth it because of the almost baby feet after.
Thanks for reading. Till then. Bye!

ReplyDeleteyes it's locally available. make sure that all areas of feet are covered with the peeling liquid specially the areas with thick corn

DeleteI really enjoy using these foot peeling things. Makes my feet baby smooth! Do you know how often we can use it?
ReplyDelete@Blair at most twice a year only forgot where I read it but it's not advisable to go beyond that
ReplyDeleteGlad there is a product out there to actually work like that on feet ^^ But it didn't hurt at all? it looks painful DX
ReplyDelete@Eva, yeah it looks painful but it doesn't hurt at all there are times though am tempted to remove the peeling skin myself but I learned my lesson the last time I had my feet peeled
ReplyDeleteI want to try these so much, I love the idea of baby soft feet!!
ReplyDeleteand it will make your feet pink :) there are other brands that are good in peeling too like nature republic and holika holika.
DeleteNice, I have never tried a foot peel. Is it a bit gross/weird that part of the appeal is... well, the peel? >_>
Deleteahahahaha it would be weird if it will not peel
